I thought it would be interesting to see what kind of common words popped up across various news sites, so I created something that caches headlines from top news site RSS feeds. (from August 2004). Common words are stripped, along with rudimentary suffix removal.

base.google.com automated uploads (sort of)
A python script to upload items in a specified directory to base.google.com. This is would work much
smoother if base.google.com was thought of as an extended disk. Instead you have to apply custom formats
to your file uploads, and also specify that format via a webpage before uploading.Still something fun to look at I suppose.

For some reason, Technorati doesn’t RSSify all of their site. I felt cheated by this. So I created my own.

A simple script that will grab the latest ‘Article of the Day’ from wikipedia and
generate an RSS feed for it. -

Upload images to your Flickr account in Python. Open source.
Once this script is running, simply drag and drop images into the specified
upload folder and watch as your images appear on your flickr account. -
