I’ve been bit by this at work recently, and I thought I’d try to figure out what the problem is.
Doing a google on Cut paste broken in Firefox will give you 288,000 results. Seems like there could be a problem there.
I even found a site (can’t find the link now of course) which had […]

Cloning the Google API? Sounds good, how about…
November 5th, 2005 · No Comments
Dave Winer says:
An open message to Microsoft and Yahoo, and major implementors of search engines: Please clone the Google API, without the limits.
www.clonethegoogleapi.com
Sounds like a great idea. Instead of waiting though, why not just make a common interface now? An API cloner that provides the net with a common way to access all […]

base.google.com

It’s being said that Google is going to be releasing a general purpose online storage service sometime very shortly.
A screenshot has it saying
Google Base is Google’s database into which you can add all types of content. We’ll host your content and make it searchable online for free.
This rings of what would happen if […]
LaunchBar
October 20th, 2005 · No Comments
I’ve finally had an apple-q / apple-tab incident that has put me over the edge.
Thanks to bj for pointing me to LaunchBar which totally helps out with that issue, and seems to be something that could replace spotlight (and maybe even Quicksilver, although I didn’t spend much time with QS)

Programmers font
October 19th, 2005 · No Comments
I’ve been shopping for a new font lately, and I was pointed to ProFont (for Windows, for Macintosh, for Linux).
There’s an alternate there called ‘Sheldon’ which is just a minor variant.

Well, last night I thought it might be cool to see if I could access the photos on the […]

I’ve always liked this one, and first came across it … oh man 9 years ago or so back in college.

Ask anyone who has stayed awake for thirty-seven hours consuming nothing but
Coke and Snickers bars and staring into a green CRT screen, if there is

ipodder
October 2nd, 2004 · No Comments
In checking out ipodder.org and Dave’s article on the anatomy of an iPodder, I’ve got a couple of questions.
Looking at the short show list on ipodder.org why can’t we employ the Replay-Radio people out there along with some RSS goodness to come up with a rotating archive of radio shows?
Say I am willing […]
