For me, making the transition from the Kona Jake back to the Bianchi Giro is always a problem. It’s a lot like going from driving the Jeep to driving the Honda. I always feel like I’m in a little speedy fiat or something when I jump back on the Giro. With that comes thoughts of if I got the wrong size, and if I really do like 700×23 tires.
I’m hoping that these new Nitto 46cm 177’s will help that transition. I’m guessing 700×25 would probably be something to consider as well.
I purchased these from the Rivendell people.
After reading about their pine tar soap
It never builds up, doesn’t strip your hair of oils, but gets out the grease. Our best selling item by far, and at $4 for a big, quarter-pound cake, you might as well try it.
I threw in a couple bars. Big mistake. That stuff reeks, and not in a good way.
