80’s music

September 12th, 2005 · No Comments

I’ll have to admit, that a small part of me likes 80’s music. This is probably due to the fact that I grew up in the 80’s. I’m sure you’re just as fond of the music in the decade(s) that you grew up with.

This all started about three weeks ago when I tuned into a local radio show called “Resurrection Flashback Sunday”. I’m finding that I’ll get hooked on some random song they play, which leads to incessant playing the following week.

The first week it was The Sundays with “Here’s where the story ends”. Next up, is Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) with “If you leave”.

The current fixation is the Thompson Twins with “King for a day”.

Let me get your earworm started:

“If I was king for just one day. I would give it all away. I would give it all way to be with you…”

I suppose I shouldn’t feel too bad, as all of these are showcased by wikipedia
