In checking out ipodder.org and Dave’s article on the anatomy of an iPodder, I’ve got a couple of questions.
Looking at the short show list on ipodder.org why can’t we employ the Replay-Radio people out there along with some RSS goodness to come up with a rotating archive of radio shows?
Say I am willing to host a couple of NPR shows that encompass a revolving 2 week window. What if you did the same thing, and that guy over there did it too.
If there’s a show you want, you email the cool people at Replay-Radio and it’ll probably get added. Currently they have 952 shows.
WRT the click-wait issue. I like the idea of “do this in the middle of the night” stuff, but think about SETI@Home. What if it did it as a screensaver so you get stuff more frequently? What if you adjust the gas so you could do middle of the night only, screensaver, or a low priority bg thread that ran continuously?
Hmm…..
